While a film student at Hunter College, Shea answered a Craigslist request for a stage performance website that was looking to expand into film and television reviews. During her six years as an entertainment journalist, she was featured by NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour, Roger Ebert, Nylon, Men’s Health, Apartment Therapy, and more.
Shea still uses Substack to keep her followers up to date with her thoughts on all things TV.
